The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Law "On Ratification of the Agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Government of Lithuanian Republic on Economic, Industrial, Scientific and Technical Cooperation"

The Agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Government of Lithuanian Republic on Economic, Industrial, Scientific and Technical Cooperation was signed on 9 December 2005 in Vilnius.

The Agreement creates more favourable conditions for long-term bilateral cooperation between the two countries in the following fields: transport and communications, energy sector, healthcare, pharmaceutical and chemical industries, woodworking industry (including pulp and paper industry), electrical equipment and appliances.

A relevant Bill (Reg. No.0051) was registered in The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
